550 W Eighth-Brick DC-DC Converters
An ultra-high full-load efficiency of 96.5% and operating temperature range of -20 to +85ËšC ambient make the ADO500 and ADO550 series ideally suited for the isolated converter in distributed power architectures supplying non-isolated converters, such as in 48 V supplies in computing and communications equipment.
The eighth-brick isolated DC-DC converters offer single fully regulated 10 V, 500/550 W output, an input range of 45 to 56 V, and no minimum load. The series offers enhanced pre-bias start-up capability and allows for paralleling two converters with automatic droop method of current sharing. A 185 kHz switching frequency reduces EMI filtering needs.
Open-frame models have an installed height of 0.48 inch (12.2 mm) and baseplate versions 0.57 inch (14.5 mm) to meet your tight inter-board spacing constraints.
