The low-profile 800 W ADQ800 series quarter-brick isolated DC-DC converter offers a single fully regulated 11.8 VDC and up to 70 A output with 96% full-load efficiency. Aimed at standard 48 V supplies in computing and server applications and regulated 48 V supplies in communications equipment, the isolated converter is an excellent fit in distributed power architectures. The converter takes 40 to 60 VDC input voltage, switches at 175 kHz (fixed) to reduce external EMI filtering needs and requires no minimum load. Standard protection features are input undervoltage, overvoltage lockout, output overvoltage, output overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions. An aluminum baseplate takes the thermal capability to -40 to +85ËšC, while keeping a low profile of 0.53 inch (13.6 mm).
